Frequently asked questions
Does the calculator account for double stacking?
Yes — set the loaded pallet height. Tiers = internal container height divided by loaded pallet height, at least one tier.
Why does my real load differ from the calculated count?
The calculator uses straight band patterns — the way most containers are actually stuffed. Experienced loaders occasionally gain one pallet with interlocking patterns (e.g. 10 US pallets in a 20 ft instead of 9), while overhanging cargo, dunnage and weight limits push counts the other way.
